Roger Innes- Founder & Director

Roger founded Summit Tackle in 2015 after manufacturing bankware for 40 years. During his period of solely manufacturing he gained a vast knowledge on how to design, not only great looking, but more importantly reliable bankware. His passion of engineering and love of fishing ultimately led him down the path off founding Summit Tackle.

More than an engineer, Roger himself is a keen fisherman. Aged 10 Roger recalls catching his first fish, “a perch caught on a bamboo rod.” He then went on to join a fishing team aged 17 where he “won the club’s points competition in his second year and later was selected to fish in LAA Shield team (London Angling Association).” Moving along to the present day Roger still enjoys fishing stating his “love for Carp fishing has never been greater than now and bringing new ideas to market is something that is very important for me.”

Roger, and his team take pride in the fact that “All of our products are designed and manufactured here in Britain 🇬🇧 and always will be using the best methods and materials available on the latest CNC machinery.”
